The Augusta Players is a nonprofit theatre that has been in business since 1945 and we love to teach kids how to have fun onstage!

Each year our summer camps provide musical theatre training in a fun environment for children 6-16. During these camps, emphasis is placed on learning the skills and craft of creating musical theatre!

Each group has classes in music, dance, technical theatre and –ACTING!

Each of our sessions will learn, create, produce and perform excerpts from a popular hit musical that will excite and engage the campers

Join the fun at the Augusta Players Summer Musical Theatre Camp! Each Camp is a two-week program for children ages 6-16. First session will be at Vineyard Church of Augusta, 3126 Parrish Road, Augusta, GA 30907. Second session will be at
Church of the Good Shepherd, 2230 Walton Way. Augusta, GA 30904. Two sessions are available:

There will be a showcase performance at 1:00pm on the final day of each session with a location to be determined.

The fee for each session is $295.00

CAMP HOURS

All sessions begin at 9:30 am and end at 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday only. Campers need to bring a sack lunch and a snack. 

Masks will be optional.

Class sizes are limited so please get your forms  in  early. Pre-registration is required for your child to receive a t-shirt.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Rebecca Pollard Brune, Camp Director, is a veteran actor with The Augusta Players and is a former artistic director for the Augusta Jr. Players and assistant director for Peach State Opera. She has graced the Imperial Theatre stage in several roles including Madame de la Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast, Sister Berta in The Sound of Music, Mrs. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol, the Musical and Ursula in Disney’s The Little Mermaid and Baroness Bomburst in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Recently, Mrs. Brune directed Something Rotten with the Players and is currently the Middle School Drama and High School Musical Theatre teacher at Davidson Fine Arts School.
